public service announcement from the Desk of the Saint Joseph School

The attached news
article appeared in the Saturday, March 20, 2021 edition of The
Bergen Record. It calls everyone's attention to the fact that social media
activity will follow an individual. If your student has been granted access
to social media platforms, you are encouraged, and urged, to
monitor social media accounts/activity to ensure students do not make
mistakes with postings that can follow them into high school, college and
the workplace. All parents are encouraged to impress upon
students that their actions on social media could potentially derail
scholarships, college acceptance, and
potentially, future employment, etc. Thank you.
