Lunch Service Provider: Saint Joseph School seeks a new Lunch Service provider for the school. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity. Interested parties should contact Principal Dr. Paula Valenti for discussion; please call or email for an appointment at 201-261-2388 or valentip@sjsusa.org.    Part-Time Maintenance Position: Saint Joseph School seeks a part-time maintenance staff member. The position seeks interested parties for five days per week, 2pm - 7pm. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume to Dr. Paula Valenti at: valentip@sjsusa.org. The successful candidate will have Protecting God's Children training (we can help with that), a positive attitude and will take pride in their work; Black Seal license is a plus! This position includes cleaning and routine school maintenance tasks. A Note From M.O.M. We invite you to join us as we pray our way through Lent with Our Lady, reflecting on her motherly journey as she traveled with her son Jesus from her Annunciation to the Cross.  We will hold two Lenten Zoom Meetings on March 8 and March 29, at 7:30 pm, during which we will pray the Stations of the Cross together. (As a member of M.O.M., the Zoom link and agenda will be emailed to you on the morning of the meeting.) Please see the below statement from Flynn O'Hara: With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic at the start of 2020, Flynn O'Hara Uniforms made the immediate decision to waive shipping charges for all online orders. We knew that by removing the added cost of shipping, we could make it easier for all families to place their uniform orders remotely until the safety concerns associated with in-person shopping had passed.  At the time, we never could have guessed that this crisis would endure for so long. Over the last year, the pandemic's impact on both education and retail has presented significant challenges to our business. Polar Express Pajama Day Will Take Place On January 15

The Polar Express Pajama Day has been rescheduled for Friday, January 15! Santa will be rested from all his Christmas deliveries and will visit each classroom briefly to deliver his goody bags. If your child would like to wear pajamas to school on that day, please send $4 in an envelope marked with your child's name and grade to the attention of Denise Pertuz / PJ Day. As Congress looks to be wrapping up deliberations this week on COVID-19 Relief, please let your members of Congress know that Catholic Schools should NOT be excluded from education relief!  Nonpublic schools, including Catholic Schools, educate approximately 10% of ALL students in the U.S., many of whom are from struggling communities.  Please ask Congress to include our students in COVID-19 Relief Aid using this link:

Saint Joseph School Is Seeking Volunteers Light Building and Decorating Help Is Requested

Saint Joseph School is seeking volunteers to construct Upson Board pedestals for the school. Upson Board is a thick paper board that is somewhat lightweight and fairly easy to use.  Saint Joseph School seeks a total of six pedestals of varied heights. Measurements for the top surface area is approximately 16" to 18" square. They will be painted after construction.  Saint Joseph School also seeks volunteers to decorate the school entryways - both Upper and Lower Schools - for the holidays.  If you are able to help with either of these projects, or make a donation toward them, please call Dr. Paula Valenti at 201-261-2388.
