ACTION ALERT – NJ State Budget
Ask the Legislature to Increase Nonpublic School
Accounts in FY 2022 Budget
Governor Murphy announced his proposed Budget for Fiscal Year
2022 on February 23, 2021. The Budget process is now in the hands of the
Legislature. We are asking the Legislature for increases in the per-pupil
amounts for the nonpublic transportation ceiling and the Nonpublic School
Technology Initiative. Specifically, we are asking for the nonpublic
school transportation ceiling to be raised to $1,150.00 and for the per-pupil
amount for nonpublic school technology to be increased to $45.00.
